Adding Lights to Pinewood Derby Cars is Easy
Hi, my name is Kevin. As a Webelos Scout I got the idea to put lights on my Pinewood Derby Car. It came out looking great! Then, after that race I had another idea: Why not sell light kits on the internet for other Cub Scouts?
I am a Boy Scout now and this is my third season selling light kits. I hope you enjoy the Website and should you decide to purchase a kit I hope you make a really cool car.

Design of Lights Optimized for Pinewood Derby Cars
PinewoodLights™ are designed for Cub Scouts (ages 5-11) to build and install as headlights and tail lights on Pinewood Derby Cars. Many different combinations of lights, batteries and circuits were checked to determine the very best design to give optimum performance. The lights are bright and have been specially paired with the battery to provide long service while keeping the overall design small and very light in weight.
Most kids can build the circuit board in around 20 minutes. This makes it a great activity for Den meetings that can count toward various achievements.
